The ISU World Figure Skating Championship 2024 will be held at the Bell Centre from March 18th to 24th. CPA Saint-Laurent is represented both on and off the ice. Jason Chan will be competing in ice dance with his partner Holly Harris. Jason has always been a member of the CPA Saint-Laurent where he trained and developped as a skater for many years. His journey began when he learnt the basics of skating beginning in 2001 by registering the Skate Canada CanSkate program. When he made the decision to focus in dance, he and his partner Valerie Taillefer were brilliant and were crowned both Quebec and Canadian champions in the Novice Category. Since 2019, he has partnered with Holly Harris in the Senior category. In their first season together, they won the Australian National Championships. They have participated in multiple Grand Prix, 4 Continents Championships and are set to participate in their 4th World Championships. We are fortunate to have a club member who will be among the 200 competitors and we warmly support Jason and Holly. Congratulations to Holly and Jason they finished in 17th place overall. We are also proud to have representatives of the club who were selected to help support this event. Etienne Bouillère is a member of the Logistics Team, Michael Yen a member of the Logistics Team and Henry Yeran Zhou and Earl Jesse Celestino members of the Medal Ceremonies Team.
